In the USA, there is a tradition of releasing ugly sweaters for Christmas, which is periodically picked up by major brands. Microsoft is among them. On December 10, the company began sending Christmas sweaters in the style of the Windows XP operating system to reporters, employees and partners.
The design is based on recognizable colors, a cursor, a classic logo and a reference to the classic OS wallpapers with a hill. All this – in a box similar to the one in which the real Windows XP was sold. But the inscription Professional was changed to Pro-ho-ho-fessional (a hint of Santa Claus’s traditional “Ho Ho Ho”.
The card is also designed in the style of Windows XP.
In the comments, users are already asking where you can buy such an “ugly” sweater. It was the same in 2018, when Microsoft first prepared such gifts, but in the style of Windows 95. These sweaters were also presented to journalists, and at the same time to ordinary users who were supposed to tell about their love for the OS.
