Almost half of all US sales on Black Friday came from smartphones. 2.9 billion dollars worth of goods were purchased through applications – 21% more than a year earlier. At the same time, the average check on Black Friday rose to a record $ 168 (about 10.8 thousand rubles), and the largest online retailers showed themselves best – they accounted for 61% of all mobile traffic on the day of sales and 66% of conversion from browsers . In 2019, Americans began to be 43% more likely to order goods with the possibility of self-delivery.
Adobe analytics is based on tracking 80 of the 100 largest US retailers. It covers 55 million terminals and accounts for a billion transactions during the holiday season.
