Yula was the first in the world of ad services to launch video calls. The innovation is available in mobile applications of the service. This was told to TJ by the director of strategic communications of Yula Nikita Likhachev.
A new feature will allow the buyer to evaluate the quality of the goods without meeting with the seller. When buying from another city, you can make sure that the seller really has the goods and that it matches the description, and only then agree on the delivery. Video calls can also replace the initial inspection of an apartment or car. “All this will help to quickly make a decision on the purchase, as well as maintain the security of the transaction,” they say in Yule.
Video calls work on the basis of Odnoklassniki. To go to the video, the parties must first call each other, and then change the mode. If the seller immediately switches to video, the video stream will be dimmed until the buyer confirms.
Users often don’t even think that video calling can be used to showcase products. We built them into our applications so that users do not have to go to external messengers – it’s safer to make transactions inside Yula.

Voice calls inside applications “Yula” launched in September. The service plans to add the ability for users to completely hide the number, allowing calls only through the application. This should help fight spam. “Yulu” was launched in 2015, in March 2019 there were 27 million users.
