Kaspersky Lab Announces Anti- Drones

Devices will be made by partners of the company, it itself will be engaged in software.

Kaspersky Lab has announced the start of sales of complexes for fighting drones. As Vedomosti was told in the company, the devices will not harm drones.

Antidron will be installed at the guarded facility. It sends the coordinates of moving objects to the server, and the neural network determines whether it is a drone or not. In case of detection of the drone, the system blocks its communication with the remote control. The drone will be forced to return to the launch point or land softly at the point of loss of communication.

Now the company is negotiating the supply of systems. As specified in Kaspersky Lab, the complexes are designed for critical infrastructure: airport protection, major sporting events and public events, enterprises. Will the company offer its systems to security forces, its representatives have not specified.

An approximate sales plan for “antidrons” in Russia is 5-10 complexes in 2020. Systems offer prices ranging from 100 thousand to a million dollars.
