Indiana resident Tommy Lee Jenkins covered 564 kilometers for sex with a 14-year-old girl, but she turned out to be an undercover cop. The man was detained on charges of forcing minors to have sex. This was reported by NBC with reference to the office of the sheriff of the county of Winnebago and the FBI.

According to Matthew Kruger, attorney in eastern Wisconsin, Jenkins thought he was talking to a 14-year-old girl named Kylie. Their correspondence began on October 1 after a man accepted a friend request from an account created by the police.

Jenkins asked the “girl” for nude photos, and then unsuccessfully tried to convince her to come to him in Indiana. When she refused, he sent her a candid shot, wrote that he “wants to have 500 children,” and said that he would come to Wisconsin.

According to police, a man traveled on foot, occasionally using buses and hitchhiking. He covered 564 kilometers from Whitestown in Indiana to the town of Nina in Wisconsin. However, instead of 14-year-old Kylie Jenkins met the Deputy Sheriff of the Winnebago County, who arrested the man as soon as he arrived.

A 32-year-old Indiana resident was charged with using a computer to coerce, persuade, or induce a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity. A man faces 10 years in prison until life.

Prior to this, Jenkins was already charged with sexual abuse of young children and sentenced to four years of probation for four cases of bullying of children in 2012.
