Google paid a fine of 700 thousand rubles due to placement in the issuance of links to prohibited resources

More than a third of the links from the registry of banned sites were stored in the search.

Google paid 700 thousand rubles as a fine because of links to sites banned in Russia in search results. This was reported by the press service of Roskomnadzor.

As noted in the department, the company does not filter all the data. More than a third of links from the Unified Register of Prohibited Information are stored in the search.

This is the second fine that Google pays at the request of Roskomnadzor. In December 2018, the company paid 500 thousand rubles for the same violation. After that, more than 70% of links to resources from the registry disappeared from the issuance.
