The first auction for the sale of old metro signs was held in Moscow. According tothe Moscow agency, the most expensive item was the exit sign to the city / No passage from the Okhotny Ryad station, which was purchased for 51.5 thousand rubles.

The event for 100 people was held at the Center for Career Guidance of the Metro. According to the “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”, a total of 34 lots were put up, including not only old light displays, but also the signs “No smoking,” “First-aid post” and others.

This is not the first stage of the sale of old signs of the Moscow metro. In December 2018, the Moscow Metro sold a number of displays in a live queue and on a reservation. Then the cost of ordinary signs was 1,500 rubles, and the luminous display – 6.25 thousand rubles. According to the Russian newspaper, this brought the subway about two million rubles.
