MMA fighter Valentina Shevchenko defended UFC flyweight champion title

The 31-year-old athlete, who is the champion of the organization, won the 18th career victory with three defeats

UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko, who has the citizenship of Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Peru, successfully held the second defense of her title in her career, defeating Liz Karmush at the UFC Fight Night 156 tournament. All five rounds were required to identify the winner, during which Shevchenko had the advantage. The final result is the victory of Shevchenko by unanimous decision of the judges.

Valentina held a second featherweight title defense. In the first defense of the UFC belt, Valentine defeated Jessica Ay.

After defeating Liz, Karmush Shevchenko commented on the outcome of the match.

My main strategy was to use all my skills to defend myself. She had an unusual technique, style and pace. I did everything to pick up the victory and prevent any unforeseen accidents in the cage.

Also, after the fight, Valentina shot a video in which she showed a hematoma on her left leg.
