At the age of 59, journalist and historian Vladimir Kara-Murza died. Causes of death are not reported. This was announced on Twitter by his son.

Kara-Murz began working on television in 1992, was a senior editor and correspondent at the Ostankino Russian State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company (Channel One) and after that the newly created NTV went to work. The journalist led his own program “Today at Midnight”, which later appeared on TNT.

He was also the host of the “Edge” program on TV-6 and TVS. In 1995 he received the award of the Union of Journalists of Russia – “Golden Pen of Russia”.
