NYT: singer R Kelly again detained on new charges of violence and child pornography

In February, he was charged with 10 cases of sexual violence and released on bail.

In the US, the singer R Kelly was detained and presented with new charges on 13 counts, including the involvement of a minor, child pornography and obstruction of justice. This was reported by The New York Times.

Illinois District Attorney Assistant Joseph Fitzpatrick did not elaborate on the details of the allegations regarding child pornography.

On February 23, R Kelly was charged with 10 cases of sexual violence, three of which concerned minors. February 26, the singer was released on bail of 100 thousand dollars.
