The model of this aircraft caught fire at the beginning of May at Sheremetyevo.
According to the publication, there are 49 SSJ-100 aircraft in the Aeroflot fleet now. Before the disaster at Sheremetyevo, there were 50 of them. In September 2018, the airline reached an agreement with United Aircraft Building Corporation to supply another 100 Superjet in 2019-2026.
On May 5, the Aeroflot aircraft, en route from Moscow to Murmansk, caught fireduring an emergency landing at Sheremetyevo. On board the ship were 78 people, including five crew members. Because of the fire, 41 people died, including one child and a flight attendant. Because of the incident, the airline began to delay or cancel the flights of “Superjet”.
