On the territory of a former meat-processing plant in Chicago , The Hoxton Hotel opened . The building has 12 floors, there is a rooftop swimming pool and coworking, where non-guests can work.

In 182 rooms, concrete ceilings and windows in the style of storage space, which should refer to the industrial past of the area. The Ennismore Design Studio who worked on the project collaborated with the local gallery to decorate the walls with works by Chicago artists.

In the design of public spaces, designers tried to convey the “Chicago spirit”: they used, including vintage furniture and furnishings, reminiscent of the time of the removal of Prohibition.
