Among the victims – 40 employees of the FSB and about 500 from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
At the end of May, about 900 thousand clients of OTP-Bank, Alfa-Bank and HKF-Bank got into open access. The databases contain full names, phone numbers, passport details, place of work and the balance on the bank account. This was reported by Kommersant.
One of the two databases of Alfa Bank contains data on 55 thousand customers. “B” clarified that they all live in the North-West Federal District. Among the clients were about 500 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and 40 people from the FSB. DeviceLock dates these records in 2014-2015. In the second base – 504 records, it is dated 2018-2019 years.
The third database contains the data of 24 thousand clients of HCF-Bank. Several people from this list confirmed “Kommersant” that they took a loan from this bank, but for a long time.
The OTP Bank’s leaks contain data on 800,000 customers throughout Russia. Several people also confirmed “Kommersant” that they took a loan from this bank. Journalists date these records in the fall of 2013.
Alfa-Bank and HCF-Bank have promised to conduct an audit on this data. “There is no information leakage recorded in our bank, and the origin of this database is unknown to us,” said OTP Bank.
The company DeviceLock, which discovered the base of the “Alfa-Bank”, believe that these data could get into open access in the fall of 2014. Then a massive regional IT department was laid off at the bank. The second base could be downloaded by a client manager specializing in combating fraud.
