Apple divided iTunes on macOS into three different applications – “Music”, TV and “Podcasts”

When connecting an iPhone, the system does not open anything and does not start.

Apple divided iTunes in the new version of macOS into three separate applications – Apple Music, TV and “Podcasts”. The company explained that too much was built into the program, and now it’s time to separate the functions.

When connecting an iPhone to a computer, no applications will be launched over the wire. Previously, iTunes automatically offered to sync content. Interactions with iPhones were integrated into macOS: now users can control synchronization through the button with the “apple”.
