Ryan Reynolds “leaked” the full version of “Detective Pikachu” on YouTube. But instead of the movie – a half hour pokemon dancing

Unusual marketing ploy before the release of the picture.

On May 8, actor Ryan Reynolds shared someone else’s tweet with the text ““ Detective Pikachu ”- FULL FILM” and a link to YouTube. The message was commented by the protagonist of the picture as if the whole picture had really leaked a week before the premiere.

“A leak…”

The YouTube video begins with the same screensavers as Detective Pikachu, and also has a timing similar to the full version of the film. In the corner of the recording is the note “Ryan Reynolds”, as if it were a copy intended for the actor. But after the first minute, the film is replaced by the dance of Pikachu – and so it goes for about an hour and a half.

“Detective Pikachu” is released in cinemas on May 16. Reviews of the film are mixed – he got 50 points out of 100 on Metacritic.
