The device can be charged from the firm rug in an hour and 40 minutes.

Xiaomi introduced the flagship Mi 9, the main feature of which was the three cameras and ultra-fast wireless charging. The design of the device from the last generation has not changed, except for the reduction of the “bangs” and the appearance of a third camera.

The main visual difference Mi 9 became iridescent body colors. The device will be available in black, violet or blue colors. For the Chinese market, as in the case of Mi 8, they will release Explorer Edition, the back cover of which “ simulates ” transparency.

The smartphone is also equipped with a 6.39-inch OLED-display with Full HD resolution and a built-in fingerprint sensor. Mi 9 runs on a Snapdragon 855 processor, contains 6 or 12 gigabytes of RAM and up to 256 gigabytes of internal memory. Xiaomi said that the new flagship was one of the first on the market to get a similar processor.

There are three cameras built into the Mi 9: with a wide-angle lens, a telephoto photo and a super-wide lens that can shoot with a 117-degree view. The main camera is equipped with a Sony sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels, but by default it will shoot in 12-megapixel format. The telephoto lens allows you to take pictures with double optical zoom without losing quality.

One of the main innovations Mi 9 has become a turbo wireless charging mode. When activated, the smartphone can be charged through a special mat with a capacity of 20 watts. Xiaomi claims that this is the fastest wireless charging on the smartphone market: other manufacturers use 7.5 or 10 watts.

Thanks to the new mode, Mi 9 can be charged up to 100% without wires for hour and 40 minutes. In addition, the smartphone comes with 27-watt wired charging – it allows you to charge the device in just an hour.

At first, the smartphone will be available only in China. The minimum version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in will cost about $ 450 (about 30 thousand rubles), and the maximum with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in and transparent cover – $ 600 (about 40 thousand rubles).

A special version of the Mi 9 SE with a weaker processor and 64 GB of internal memory can be bought for $ 300 (19 thousand rubles). The company did not specify the date of the start of sales in Europe and countries other than China, noting that it will be “very soon.”

In May 2018, Xiaomi introduced the flagship of the previous generation – Mi 8 Pro. Its main difference was framelessness and face recognition on the principle of iPhone.
