Tens of thousands of residents marched for a new referendum.

Hundreds of thousands of people who opposed Britain’s exit from the European Union passed through central London, demanding a new referendum. This is reported by Reuters and the BBC .

Marchers are moving from Hyde Park towards Parliament Square. A similar protest in October 2018 gathered 700 thousand participants.

We have a simple requirement: the people should have the last word with regard to “brekzita”.organizers of the rally

Brekzit was supposed to happen on March 29, but British Prime Minister Theresa May asked the European Union to postpone the release from March 29 to June 30, 2019. The EU agreed to two dates: either on May 22, if the UK Parliament votes for the May plan next week, or on April 12, if it does not vote. On January 15 and March 12, the British Parliament twice voted against Theresa May’s plan for secession from the EU.
