On March 15, Anning said that “the real reason for the bloodshed in New Zealand is the immigration program that allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to the country.” According to him, “left-wing politicians and the media will hasten to declare that the reasons for today’s shootings lie in the weapon laws.”

Senator Enning Statement

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison called the senator’s words “disgusting.” “These views have no place in Australia, let alone the Australian Parliament,” added Morrison. Australian residents criticized the words of the senator in social networks.

On March 15, gunmen attacked two mosques in the city of Christchurch in New Zealand. They burst inside and staged a shooting – 50 people became victims of the terrorist attack, another 48 people were injured. What happened was called “one of the darkest days in the history of New Zealand.”
