March 15-16: Channel One will show the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, in which Michael Jackson was accused of pedophilia. This reported in the press service of the channel. Due to age restrictions for viewers under the age of 18, both parts will be aired after midnight.
The documentary characters are 40-year-old James Safechuck and 36-year-old choreographer Wade Robson. The first met Jackson at the age of 10, and the other at 7. Seifchak and Robson described Jackson in detail at his Netlandia ranch in California. They claimed that the musician systematically sexually abused them. Parents said they did not notice what was happening with the children. Since 1993, Michael Jackson has denied sexual abuse of children.
On February 22, the Jackson family filed a lawsuit against HBO, accusing the channel of violating the 1992 contract to ban disseminating “defaming” information about the singer. On the TV channel they answered that they would still release the film on the air – two parts of the documentary were shown on March 3 and 4.
