“In the first 15 days, we shipped more copies of the game than in 8 years since the release of the original Red Dead Redemption,” top managers of Take-Two boasted, stressing that they managed to earn $ 725 million in the first week – a record amount for any title in the history of entertainment of any kind.
The publisher also noted that the network mode of Red Dead Online in terms of indicators bypasses the GTA Online mode at the same time in its life cycle. In general, the number of players in these two modes exceeded record levels.
Publishing income for the quarter was $ 1.25 billion, and net profit – $ 180 million.
