On the coast of the English Channel in the north-west of France, we found pillows from two seats of the missing plane. Most likely, it is fragments of the ship, which flew Argentine footballer “Cardiff City” Emiliano Sala, saidDepartment for the Investigation of accidents UK (AAIB).

The AAIB clarified that the armchairs were found on the beach in Surtenvillecommune on the Cotentin peninsula in Normandy. Pillows found separately from each other on the morning of January 28. To the conclusion that these are fragments of the aircraft itself, the experts came after a preliminary inspection.

UK narrowed the search area for a football player to four square nautical miles. The agency ordered a special vessel for underwater research, which will start this weekend – 2-3 February. Presumably, the inspection will take up to three days. If divers find other wreckage of the aircraft, for their thorough inspection using a remote-controlled robot.

On January 24, police and rescuers stopped their active search for Sal, who was flying from French Nantes to Welsh Cardiff. The operation continued on private donations. On the small-scale vessel there were only two people – a football player and a pilot.

The renewed search was called for by the multiple owner of the Golden Ball, Argentine Barcelona midfielder Lionel Messi. Before the match with Cardiff City on January 29, London Arsenal included the name of Sal in the program along with other players of the main squad.

Sala moved from Nantes to Cardiff just a few days before the incident. The amount was a record for the Welsh club – 15 million pounds.
