The American Film Academy has announced live Oscar-2019 nominees, which will be held February 24 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Marvel’s Black Panther made it to seven nominations and became the first superhero film that claims to be the main Oscar. Most of the nominations, ten, received “Roma” by Alfonso Cuarona: she was simultaneously in the categories “Best Film” and “Best Film in a Foreign Language”. Roma can also be the first Netflix film to win this nomination.

The ceremony changed the format after the fall of the ratings in 2018. “Oscar-2019” will last no more than three hours and, most likely , not with one leader, but with several. The prize was to be held by Kevin Hart, but he refused because of the allegations of homophobia for old tweets.

In Russia, the Oscar will be broadcast live on the main page of Yandex and at KinoPoisk. Until March 19, it will be possible to watch the broadcast in the recording.
