“I am fed up with this work”: a resident of Wales sold a new Banksy graffiti in his garage for 130 thousand dollars

People were ready to disassemble the garage in brick and carry it home.

A resident of Port Talbot, UK, Ian Lewis sold for 130,000 dollars the last work of anonymous artist Banksy “Seasonʼs Greetings” (“Happy Holidays!”). The property owner is glad to have sold graffiti.

On the night of December 19, Banksy created a new graffiti that appeared on the city’s garage in Wales. The composition is located on two walls, forming a 90-degree angle. On one side is a child rejoicing in the falling snowflakes. On the other – a burning container, the ash from which falls on the boy.

The media suggested that the artist chose this city, because he is known as one of the dirtiest in the UK. About 20 thousand people gathered at the garage for Christmas, but the owner of the property did not share the joy of the fans.

People came for pieces of creativity Banksy. They even said that they were ready to disassemble the garage in brick and carry it home.

I was stressed out, and he dropped a bomb on me. I would like to get my life back to normal.

Because of the large influx of fans, he had to put a fence around the wall. Actor Michael Sheen (Frost vs. Nixon, Twilight) learned about Jena’s problem and helped him pay for security.
