There is a possibility that Apple is working on the seventh generation of iPod Touch – a music player, whose line has not been updated since 2015. This is with reference to its own sources reported the Japanese edition of Mac Otakara.

About any characteristics or changes in the appearance of the device information yet. Journalists have linked the likely update with Apple’s desire to make the player a “guide” for users to paid digital services like Apple Music and iTunes. Edition 9to5Mac suggested that the iPod Touch will be aimed at children who are not “ready” for a full-fledged smartphone.

Apple released the sixth generation iPod Touch in 2015: before that, the player had not been updated for another three years. In 2017, the company discontinued its iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle lines. IPod Touch can still be bought on the Apple site for 17 thousand rubles (32 GB version) or 25 thousand rubles (128 GB version).
