Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg published a video about the artificial intelligence system he developed that plays the role of a house mate, similar to Jarvis from the movie Iron Man.
Zuckerberg presented his housing management system: “After a year of coding, meet Jarvis”.
The head of Facebook told about the details of the work on the personal assistant on December 20. According to Zuckerberg, the system he developed controls light, temperature, doors, cameras and smart devices in the house.
Jarvis can be controlled using a voice application for the iPhone, a bot for Facebook Messenger or a surveillance camera. The system also incorporates speech recognition and analysis algorithms and face recognition technology.
On September 4, 2016, Zuckerberg also spoke about the house management system, saying that he would present it to the public as soon as she was fully prepared, and at that time Jarvis did not even listen to his wife.
At the same time, the founder of Facebook expressed the opinion that in the next decade, artificial intelligence will be able to behave almost like a person and will have its basic functions, such as sight, hearing and speech.
In October 2016, actor Robert Downey Jr., who played the main role in the film “Iron Man”, proposed his candidacy as a voice for artificial intelligence Zuckerberg. Who actually voiced the system presented to them, is not reported yet.
