Soon the photograph was removed from the official website of Morrison. The local edition of The Sydney Morning Herald has published an original snapshot in which the Prime Minister sits in other sneakers. Probably, the designers who edited the photo tried to hide the old politician’s shoes.
Morrison also responded to the photojob about his sneakers: according to him, he did not give his department the task of “replacing” old shoes with a new one.
Message to my Department (PM&C): I didn’t ask for the shoeshine, but if you must Photoshop, please focus on the hair (lack thereof), not the feet! 😀
