Six people died, seven crew members managed to save.
Updated at 4:00 pm: The Russian Embassy in Turkey reported that there were no Russians aboard a sunken ship.
The cargo ship Volga-Balt, carrying a few Russians, sank in the Black Sea off the coast of Turkey. The crew, according to local authorities, consisted of nine citizens of Ukraine, two citizens of Azerbaijan and two Russians. Seven people were saved, the rest were killed – the citizenship of the victims is being determined.
The vessel sent a distress signal at about 8 am, at the time of the crash it was located 130 kilometers from the port of Samsun.
