“You want me back”: Kevin Spacey appealed to fans in the form of Frank Underwood

After many months of public silence, Kevin Spacey suddenly posted a Christmas video online. In the three-minute video, the actor appeals to fans in the form of President Frank Underwood from the TV series “House of Cards” and states that he survived “impeachment without trial”.

It looks like the star of the “House of Cards” is not going to plead guilty to the sexual harassment in which he is suspected.

[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]Of course, some of you believed all this and held your breath in anticipation of my confession. These people can not wait to hear, as I say, that all this is true and I deserve punishment. That would be simple, wouldn’t it?[/perfectpullquote] [perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]You wouldn’t believe the worst without proof, would you? You will not make hasty decisions without facts, will you? Did you do that? No, they did not. You are too smart for this.[/perfectpullquote]

The video is timed not only for Christmas, but also for the next moves in cases against the actor. December 24, it became known that on January 7, 2019, Spacey will appear before a Massachusetts court on suspicion of sexual harassment in July 2016.

In 2017, American journalist Heather Yunruh said that Spacey gave her 18-year-old heterosexual son to drink in a bar, and then began to pester. By state law, the teenager was forbidden to drink alcohol, but he lied to the actor about his age. According to Heather, her son was fascinated by the opportunity to mingle with the star and did not know that he would be the victim of a “sexual predator”.

For the first time, Spacey was suspected of harassment in October 2017, when actor Anthony Rapp announced that the star of the “House of Cards” was pestering him at a party. At that time, Rapta was only 14 years old. Over the statute of limitations, this story has not received further development. Nevertheless, many other accusations were made against the actor, and he quickly became persona non grata in Hollywood.

In the final season of the “House of Cards” series Spacey never appears – viewers are immediately informed that his hero is dead. Fans took this approach badly negative – the average user rating of the season on Metacritic was 3 out of 10.
