NVIDIA has started selling Jetson AGX Xavier modules designed for installation in robotic systems with AI germs. The chips are sold in batches of 1000 pieces at a price of $ 1.1 thousand per unit, so ordinary mortals will not be able to assemble their own army of robots. The buyers of the modules will be companies that will specialize in automatic delivery systems and similar systems.
The module includes an ARM processor, a GPU based on the Volta platform, a pair of self-learning chips for the system, components of machine vision, as well as separate image and video processing. The level of energy consumption is 10 watts.
The buyers of Jetson AGX Xavier will be Yamaha (for drones), Nanopore (DNA sequencing), JD.com (delivery drones) and probably some others.
