The creators of the hotel were inspired by the mountains.
Hotel Quadrum in the mountains of Georgia resembles a pyramid, made up of former cargo containers. The architects Sandro Ramishvili and Irakli Eristavi, who created it, call the landscape of the Upper Gudauri resort as a source of inspiration, in which they inscribed their creation.
They used environmentally friendly materials of local production in their work, and each room offers a panoramic view of the mountains.
As visitors, the hotel invites first of all fans of skiing and yoga, as well as those who need a quiet contemplative rest away from people.
Quadrum is not the first hotel of freight containers, such as there are , for example, in China and in the UK. Georgian differs from them by distance from cities and the height of location – it is located at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level.
