Roskomnadzor fined Google 500 thousand rubles 

For refusing to connect to the registry of prohibited resources and exclude them from the search results.

Google company was fined 500 thousand rubles, the head of Roskomnadzor, Alexander Zharov, said. His words leads Tass.

Zharov noted that the department may initiate another administrative case against the company in case of non-compliance with Russian legislation.

On November 26, Roskomnadzor filed an administrative case for Google for refusing to connect the banned resources registry (FGIS) and start excluding them from the search results. The protocol was compiled under Part 1 of Article 13.40 of the Administrative Code (non-performance of duties by the search engine operator).

The agency has already threatened the company with a fine of half a million rubles.
