HTC intends to come to grips with the development of a greater number of blockchain smartphones, as well as to strengthen the product lines associated with the arrival of 5G networks. It is reported by DigiTimes, citing its own sources in the industry. The information came after the launch of the HTC Exodus 1 crypto mobile with the Zion hardware wallet.
In the first half of 2019, HTC plans to begin shipping mobile “smart 5G hubs”, and the company is also establishing cooperation with the American operator Sprint and the Australian Telstra as part of the development of 5G networks.
Smart hubs will use Qualcomm equipment and, in particular, 5G-modem X50.
