The Honor brand announced the world’s first smartphone with a “leaky” screen – the front camera View 20 (aka Honor V20) is hidden in a small hole in the upper left corner of the display. The novelty received a Kirin 980 processor, as well as a 48-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor. A full presentation of the device will take place on December 26 in Beijing.
The global launch of Honor View 20 is scheduled for January 22, according to the company’s official Twitter. Sales start in Paris.
The smartphone, like other Honor and Huawei devices, implements GPU Turbo technology, designed to improve the performance of the hardware when launching games, as well as Link Turbo technology. The latter is designed to improve the quality of communication and data transfer and simultaneously uses wireless communication modules Wi-Fi and 4G. Probably, its support should be implemented in the operator’s network.
