Hyperloop Transportation Technologies will undertake the construction of a test site in Germany. The location of the selected port in Hamburg, reports Bloomberg.
A pipe length of 99.9 meters (328 feet) should connect the docks to the territory adjacent to the port where the containers are stored, but the exact construction site is not yet determined. In the future, the availability of such a transport system will accelerate the delivery of goods and allow for faster loading or unloading of ships.
The Hyperloop transport system, in which the platforms move along a vacuum tube, suggested Ilon Mask. Currently, several companies have already built test sites (Virgin Hyperloop One, for example) to test such vehicles.
