Resource Windows Central found out the details about the unusual laptop, on which Microsoft is working together with Intel. The main feature of the device is that it will have an additional screen instead of a keyboard unit.
The device, codenamed Centaurus, will be a demonstration of new features for working with two screens. For example, in the “notebook” version, the lower display can be used as a keyboard or canvas for working in a graphic editor, and turning the gadget 90 degrees will get a book format.
Centaurus has been in development for about a year. The gadget will work on Windows Core OS – a new version of Windows 10. There is little information about the hardware, but the processors are Intel chips. The laptop should debut next fall. Also, Microsoft continues to work on Surface Andromeda – a folding smartphone with two screens.
