George Bush Sr. Died

The 41st president of the United States was 94 years old.

The 41st President of the United States, George W. Bush, died at the age of 94. This was reported by the Washington Post edition with reference to the application of the Bush family.

Bush held the presidency for one term, from 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of the United States for the Ronald Reagan Administration for two terms, and before that he headed the CIA.

Bush Sr.’s presidential term came to the end of the Cold War: less than a year after his assumption of office, the Berlin Wall fell, and two years later the Soviet Union collapsed.

George Bush Sr. survived his wife Barbara for only eight months , with whom he had been married for 73 years. Their eldest son, George W. Bush, was the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009. Another son of Jord and Barbara Bush – Jeb – served as governor of Florida, and in 2016 participated in the Republican presidential primaries.

After the death of George W. Bush, the five people who were president of the United States survive: Jimmy Carter (1977–1981), Bill Clinton (1993–2001), George W. Bush and Barack Obama (2009–2017), as well as the current head Donald Trump administration.
