In Egypt, a student from British Manchester was placed in custody – as the media suggested, on suspicion of espionage. 19-year-old Muhammad Abulkasem (Muhammad Abulkasem) was detained on November 21 during landing at the airport of Egyptian Alexandria, where he flew from Libya.

The young man took a photo from the airplane window, and a military helicopter hit the picture. After Abulkazem took a photo, he was detained and interrogated.

The British Foreign Office confirmed to The Independent that a British citizen was arrested, and consular officials are trying to gain access to his case files.

According to family members, they learned that the young man was in custody without any legal representation, but they were not given any details.
