US President Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin did not greet the assembly for a joint photograph of the participants in the G20 summit. The American president passed by and stood between French President Emmanuel Macron and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

At the same time, Putin greeted the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
The presidents also did not sit together during lunch.

November 29, Trump announced the cancellation of the meeting with Putin, scheduled for December 1 in Buenos Aires. The reason was the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in the Kerch Strait.
Proceeding from the fact that ships and seamen did not return to Ukraine from Russia, I decided that it would be better for all interested parties to cancel the previously scheduled meeting in Argentina with President Vladimir Putin. I look forward to a meaningful meeting again as soon as this situation is resolved.
November 11 at a ceremony dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, Trump and Putin shook hands.
