A couple of weeks ago, Samsung introduced the Infinity-O concept for a smartphone with a camera hole right in the display, and now Huawei hints at developing a gadget with the same solution. Apparently, the Chinese manufacturer will overtake the South Korean competitor: the debut of the device is already scheduled for December.
As planned, a peephole for the front camera will appear in the upper left of the screen. The sensor will be built right through the display matrix. This will get rid of “monobrovi.” Probably, such a decision at the same time will make the camera less noticeable, or vice versa – it will always be evident.
Samsung is also in full swing working on a similar device. The first smartphone with the design of the Infinity-O should be A8s. The device is expected to premiere in February next year.
