At the Grand Prix “Formula 1” in Abu Dhabi, HTC and McLaren presented the result of the partnership concluded earlier – a special version of the Vive Pro virtual reality helmet. The novelty received a “racing” performance: instead of the standard black color, a more spectacular blue-orange version is used.
According to the characteristics of the new product does not differ from the usual Vive Pro, but the price is higher – $ 1,549 against $ 1,199 (special offer HTC in the framework of the sale). Overpayment is not only for a limited version, but also for two games in the set.
One of them is a racing simulator based on rFactor 2, in which you can ride the legendary race cars of the McLaren team. The second is the McLaren Garage VR Experience, where you can feel like a technician and change the wheel in a second or two.
