February 22, 2019 multiplayer Total War: Arena servers will be closed. The results of open beta testing, which has continued since the beginning of 2018, could not fully meet the expectations of developers. All participants MBT promise gifts.
The developers of Total War: Arena will switch to other games in the series, and all the technological developments and experience will not be wasted.
For anyone who played through the Wargaming Game Center, the developers at Creative Assembly will provide a choice of free content from these options:
- Total War: Medieval II – Definitive Edition;
- Hannibal at the Gates (addition to Total War: Rome II);
- Age of Charlemagne (addition to Total War: Attila);
- Grim and the Grave (addition to Total War: Warhammer).
Wargaming, in turn, offered players to try out World of Tanks, World of Warships and World of Warplanes, where they will receive a gift: 30 days of a premium account for everyone who played more than 100 games in Total War: Arena. And for those who donated in this game, purchases will be compensated for in-game currency in Wargaming projects. Details can be found at this link .
