Digital Wellbeing (“digital well-being”), announced earlier on Google I / O 2018, was released from beta and became available to all users of Google Pixel and Android 9 Pie from November 20 . New toolallows you to control the time spent in various applications, as well as see the number of phone unlocks and received notifications per day. At the same time, it is possible to limit the usage time of the application: after reaching the limit, the application will be available for launch only after it is disabled. In addition, users of the Wind Down function (“rest”) can limit incoming notifications and transfer the screen to black and white (Grayscale) mode for night use of the smartphone. New feature management will appear in the phone settings.

Earlier, Google began to introduce digital well-being features on YouTube, Google Calendar and Google Home. Similar tools for the last year appeared in Apple , Facebook and Instagram .
