Americans are less likely to change their iPhone

Americans are in no hurry to update their old iPhone to a more recent model, according to analysts from Hyla Mobile, which works in the States with dealer networks and mobile operators, providing them with support for trade-in services. The average owner of the “apple” smartphone now does not part with his smartphone for almost three years – 2.92 years, to be exact.

Whereas two years ago this figure was 2.39 years. At the same time, analysts say that iPhone owners hold on to their smartphones longer than Android users.

As factors of the increasing term of life of generations, the iPhone is primarily referred to as the rising price of phones, which have already exceeded $ 1,000. Secondly, mobile operators have become less generous and are offering ever less tempting installment installments when connecting subscribers who buy new iPhones from them.
