Vice Prime Minister spoke about salaries in the HTP and where they can send money from the park fund

More than 30 thousand people work in the HTP resident companies, the average salary is more than 4 thousand rubles, Alexander Turchin, the first deputy prime minister, said in an interview to the program “Conversation with the President” on the Belarus 1 channel, BelTA reports . According to him, this sector makes a significant contribution to GDP growth. This year it accounts for about 0.5% of the 3.7% growth in the economy.

Exports of the High-Tech Park will grow by at least 40% by the end of this year, said Alexander Turchin. “In the High-Tech Park, we will increase in revenue and, accordingly, export of services by $ 400–450 million compared to last year. This is a growth of 40% or more, ”he noted.

Vice Prime Minister raised the issue of the development of the digital economy in Belarus. “We have developed a decision that, perhaps, at the current stage, the Ministry of Communications and Informatization will assume the functions of a coordinator in this area, ” said Turchin. One of the proposals is to create project offices at the Ministry of Communications that will work in various areas (for example, e-education).

To finance the work of project offices and pay salaries to their employees is proposed from the HTP fund, where residents deduct 1% of revenue. In addition, funds from the fund are proposed to be sent to the field of education, for example, to help IT universities, writes BelTA The fund has several tens of millions of dollars, so the funds for the planned initiatives will suffice, the First Deputy Prime Minister assured.
