Canadian police issued a first fine for smoking marijuana behind the wheel

Just an hour after its legalization in the country.

October 17 in Canada came into force a law allowing adult residents to use, store and grow marijuana for recreational purposes.

About an hour after the law came into force, the Winnipeg city police fined the first driver for smoking marijuana while driving. In their twitter, police representatives remind readers that, although the use of marijuana, like alcohol, is in itself real, it is still forbidden to use them at the wheel.
