Medium priority (up to 100 Mbit / s) – audio and video content, instant messengers, games, VOIP, mail, social networks.
For such resources and services, the speed is doubled, but it is quite normal for the consumption of content.
For streaming services, the speed sometimes rises by 10-15 Mbit / s. This is necessary in cases where the average download speed is not enough for optimal loading.
Low priority (up to 1 Mbit / s) – various torrent trackers.
Downloading torrents leads to capturing the entire bandwidth of the channel with a small number of “resource-intensive” users. Because of this, other subscribers suffer.
Therefore, the download speed of torrents, as a rule, is very limited.
Since we still cheated operators
To maintain a normal load on the server, the operators brazenly and covertly cut the speed ofaccess to most resources.
We are told that we always use the fastest and most incredible Internet, and in fact we do not get even half of this speed.
Therefore, when you read the news that MegaFon, MTS, Tele2 or Beeline have the fastest Internet – this is not true. They have the fastest access to the SpeedTest site, nothing more.
