The company has almost registered a trademark.
CNBC found a Tesla application for registration of an “agave plant liquor” in the United States Trademark and Patent Office. Shortly thereafter, the release of tequila was confirmed by Elon Musk and declared that it would be called Teslaquila. As proof, he published a snapshot of the label of a bottle with Tesla logos and the name of tequila.
Teslaquila coming soon … https://t.co/AtoVGOtvVR

Musk first mentioned “teskilku” on April 1 in his Twitter. Then he jokingly wrote that the company went bankrupt, and he was found near his Tesla 3 surrounded by bottles of branded tequila.
In January 2018, Musk announced that his The Boring Company would sell flamethrowers. Many thought it was a joke, but soon the company really opened up sales. As in the case of flamethrowers and other Tesla brand products, it is likely that Teslaquila will be produced not by herself, but by a third-party company that really specializes in this.
