The Japanese company GMO Internet has announced plans to release a cryptocurrency tied to the yen rate in fiscal 2019. We are talking about the so-called “steyblkoine”, which is characterized by a stable course. Virtual money will be called GMO Japanese Yen (GJY). Cryptocurrency will be focused on Asian markets.
GJY will be trading on Z.com, which is a platform launched by GMO Internet itself as part of the development of a new business line.
Last year, the Japanese company put cryptocurrency mining on the business rails, and this summer released the mining equipment GMO Miner B2 on 7-nm chips. They are optimized for mining Bitcoins and Bitcoin Cash.
