Varjo Technologies has raised $ 31 million in another investment round. A startup from Finland has become known thanks to the promise to make the world’s first virtual reality helmet with a particularly high resolution – “like a human eye.”
Varjo Technologies was formed in 2016 and has since been working on its helmet. It is also reported that the helmet will be able to work in the mode of mixed reality. Co-founder and head of the company previously worked in Nokia and Microsoft.
The highest resolution is planned to be implemented with the user’s eye tracking. The system will produce the maximum quality in the area where you are looking, and the rest of the detail space will be worse.
The total investment in Varjo Technologies has already exceeded $ 46 million.
