Members of the group became known, condemning Russian girls for relations with foreign fans during the 2018 World Cup.
The investigative committee opened a criminal case against a 27-year-old resident of the Saratov region suspected of inciting hatred of women (Article 282, part 1 of the Criminal Code).
According to the investigators, the man created a group in which from May to June he committed “actions aimed at humiliating human dignity in relation to the group singled out on the basis of gender – women”.
In this group, he placed photos and video images containing linguistic and psychological signs of incitement of hostility, hatred (discord) specifically towards women.
According to “Interfax”, we are talking about the community “Male state”. As the agency noted, the closed group was created in 2016, it has more than 155 participants. Members of the group became known when they discussed the relations of Russian girls with foreign fans during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
According to unconfirmed information from the Siloviki Telegram channel , the suspect is named Vladislav Pozdnyakov.
According to DailyStorm, two creators of the Khabarovsk branch of the “Male state”, Viktor Kartashov and Sergey Zherebtsov, were accused of participating in an extremist community to commit crimes. Presumably, it is not an official branch of MG, as it is not listed in the main community.
FSB officers later introduced some Roman Umatov into the Kartashov and Zherebtsov movement. He persuaded Kartashov and Zherebtsov to rob a drug seller, but in the end the robbery did not take place. A few days later the young people were detained. In total, eight people became defendants in the case: two organizers, the rest – participants.
